“ONE PEOPLE, ONE DIASPORA”
The Association “Burundian Diaspora,” under the motto “ONE PEOPLE, ONE DIASPORA,” aims to establish and strengthen the capacity of the East African Community (EAC) diaspora and promote coordination and cooperation among EAC citizens and member states towards socio-economic transformation.
We are excited to announce that Burundi will host the East African Diaspora Summit in Bujumbura, Burundi, in August 2025. This landmark event will bring together over 200 EAC diaspora members from around the world, distinguished leaders, policymakers, business professionals, and stakeholders from the East African region to discuss and address key issues affecting our community.
REASONS TO ATTEND
General Sessions and Sector-Specific Panels
The East African Diaspora Summit will feature engaging plenary sessions where participants can discuss critical topics surrounding economic development, trade, and investment opportunities in the region.
